Simon Christidis ACS is an Australian cinematographer best known for his work in water cinematography on feature films, television drama, documentaries and commercials. He is also a licensed Drone Pilot, Cave Diver, PADI Dive Master, and has his Coxswain license. He builds his own underwater housings and works in all water conditions including surf, ocean, and cave diving. Simon is also an accomplished cinematographer and camera operator on land. Simon has collaborated with a wide variety of filmmakers over his 30 year career, including David M Rosenthal, Ron Howard, James Cameron, Baltasar Kormákur, Jaume Collet-Serra and Angelina Jolie. Recent projects include Thirteen Lives ,No Limit, Adrift, The Shallows and Extraction.
