Brian D'Augustine

Growing up outside Dallas, TX, I discovered an interest in editing while taking a high school radio production class where I began cutting audio promos. The spark having been lit, I decided to attend the University of North Texas to explore film and TV production. While there I met some lifelong friends with whom I would began making YouTube shorts with on the weekends. These fun outside projects helped to further my interest in crafting stories in the edit. After graduating, I began exploring a move to Los Angeles and attended a lecture series hosted by the American Cinema Editors (ACE) that provided me with much needed info and some terrific connections. A few months later in May of 2011, I had landed a job as a Post PA and began my career in the entertainment industry. After moving up to assistant editor and spending some time in reality TV learning as much as I could, I finally made the jump to scripted TV in 2015 on a show for CBS. By 2019 I had been promoted to editing full time on Lucifer for WB/Netflix. Beyond that I have received additional editing/co-editing credits on various feature films and TV shows, and recently have had the opportunity to step into commercial and digital content.
